Blessing Letters

For someone else’s moment. Each blessing is drawn from the old folk blessings of these islands. I’ll speak it at my altar under a fitting moon, write it out for them by hand, and send it sealed with a small charm to keep and your own message inside.

• A Saining: for a new baby, the old Scottish blessing to protect a newborn and welcome them to the world
• Hearth & Threshold: for a new home, a blessing on the door, the hearth and everyone who crosses in
• A Handfasting: for a wedding or union, a blessing on the binding of two lives
• A Crossing: for a new chapter, leaving home, a new job or a brave beginning
